- Large Sticky Buns from Mr. Sticky are always a treat. Don’t forget to place your order! Thank you to Gladys Asadi for organizing this tasty fundraiser!
- Check out the school web site for more information!
School Uniform Committee
A committee has been formed to evaluate the current school uniform dress code. The goal of this committee is not to make drastic changes, but to look at current options, remove some, and possibly add others.
Three parents that are on the PTO Board volunteered to be on the committee, Danielle Rogers, Heather Strouse, and Tammy Rich will be working with teacher representative, Sue Cooper, and administration to revise the uniform.
If you have any suggestions, please contact one of the committee members. We will try to develop a plan that will allow parents accessibility to the clothing, but will still maintain the tradition of a uniform.

February Means Phys. Ed. at the YMCA and Swimming at LHU!
Thanks to our good friends at the YMCA, we will be holding our Tuesday physical education classes at the YMCA. If you have not sent in your child’s permission slip, please do it as soon as possible.
The fifth and sixth graders get the opportunity to go swimming at L.H.U. They will be receiving swimming instruction from Michelle Eaton and her students.
We want to thank not only Mrs. Eaton and her students, but the YMCA and PTO as well. PTO is paying for the bus that YMCA is providing at a reduced rate.
Final Thoughts:
-
Thank you to Officer Keith Kibler and Scott Alexander for taking the time to talk to parents about car and technology safety.
- Please make sure your child has a hat and gloves when they leave for school each day. We like getting the kids outside for recess, and several students are not properly dressed for the weather.
