Y.M.C.A. After School Program

After a great deal of fact finding and deliberation, School Council has decided to not participate in the Y.M.C.A. After School Program. This decision was based on many factors. We are happy to say, we will continue our partnership with the Y.M.C.A. on other projects.

H1N1 Flu

In this white envelope, you will find information on the H1N1 Flu. This letter was sent to us from Keystone Central School District. We will be following their policy, which is also very similar to the policy of the Altoona/Johnstown Diocese. In short, please encourage your child to wash his/her hands, and if your child has a fever, keep him/her home. If you send your child to school with a fever, we will have to send him/her home.
New Beginnings I am always amazed each year that even though “Mother Nature” is starting to begin the process on dormancy, that here at L.H.C.S., we are in the process of fresh starts and starting a new year of growth. I want to thank all of you for your prayers and well wishes as I start my “new beginning”. I am enjoying working with all of the students, teachers, and parents in my new capacity.
