Measure Up with Math

We have begun our unit on measuring. We will learn about standard units of measure inches and centimeters. We will also explore with other units such as paperclips, blocks, toothpicks etc… Remember to practice + and – facts. Our goal is to memorize facts through 10.

Read, Read, Read!

We are continuing Book 3 of the McGraw-Hill readers. In this book we will focus on swinger brothers ch, wh, short vowels and blends.

Your child now has a good foundation to be able to read and spell words with success. Providing your child opportunity to read more at home will increase your child’s vocabulary and improve fluency. I am sure your child has been reading all sorts of traffic signs, cereal boxes and commercials! Now reading is a natural thing for your child!
